2.Small power. Because the conversion efficiency of the battery panel is not high, and the area of the battery panel is about 0.005m2/peak Watt, the area of the 400 peak watt battery plate required by the 100W energy-saving LED is up to 2M2, which is difficult to meet the requirements of the urban landscape. To improve the lamp power, we can only hope that the conversion efficiency of the battery panel will be greatly improved.
3.Weather impact. The solar road stud marker is influenced by environmental factors too much, and the lighting is affected by long rainy days, which requires high installation position. Solar panels must ensure sufficient sunshine time. However, it is very difficult to evenly distribute lights on urban roads due to the high-rise buildings on both sides of urban roads and the dense roadside trees.
4.Bad landscape. There are few choices of DC bulbs matching with solar low-voltage DC power supply, high price and unsatisfactory light color. If the inverter is used to convert to 220 V AC, there are some problems such as the loss of conversion efficiency and the influence of inverter on landscape.
To sum up, solar road stud marker can not
replace traditional road stud in a short period of time, but it is not inaction. As long as efforts are made in small power and special applications, the balance between cost, power and landscape can be achieved.
