1. The impact resistance of the reflector is poor
At present, the primary problem of Road Studs on the market is that the reflectors are not impact-resistant. More than 80% of products have this problem. Due to technological problems, most of the Road Studs reflectors are ultrasonically welded to the shell, and the reflectors are impacted. It just peels off and cracks, and when it rains, the rain soaks in and loses its reflective brightness.​
Inspection method: Impact test on the Road Studs reflector. After the whiteboard is pulled out, the 1KG steel ball falls freely, hits the surface of the road stud reflector vertically, then soaks it in water, and then measures the brightness of the reflector. If the reflector does not enter the water, the reflective brightness will not decrease.

2. The Road Studs shell is not compressive
The compressive standard of the Road Studs of the Ministry of Communications is greater than 16 tons. In practice, the compressive resistance value of most Road Studs cannot be reached.​
3. The reflective brightness of the reflector decays quickly
The road is full of sand, and under the tires, the sand often wears the Road Studs reflective surface. The simple plastic Road Studs reflective sheet is not resistant to friction, and the brightness will decrease by 50% after three months. If the reflective effect is lost, this problem can be solved by adding a transparent wear-resistant layer on the surface.

The glue that cannot be used up at one time in the packaging barrel should be re-covered and stored in a tightly sealed container. The average temperature of the construction site is lower than 0°C, and the Road Studs adhesive can be preheated to about 30∽50°C by heating methods such as iodine and tungsten lamps, electric furnaces or water baths before use. Care should be taken not to allow water to mix into the barrel and the structural adhesive is completely cured.

The latter is a non-toxic grade material, but the individual components before curing are irritating to skin and eyes, and the glue is not easy to remove after curing, so Road Studs construction personnel should pay attention to proper labor protection, such as safety helmets, work clothes, gloves. Wait. After direct contact with human body, rinse with clean water. The higher the ambient temperature, the larger the amount of glue dispensed each time, and the shorter the operating time. Estimate the amount of each dispensing during the pot life to avoid unnecessary waste. Shelf life: at least 8 months from the date of production (stored in the original package and sealed in a dry place at room temperature).
