With the wide application of
Road Studs in domestic high-grade highways and municipal roads, more attention has been paid to the quality and service life of
Road Studs. In the actual application process, the phenomenon of
Road Studs damage and service life reduction often caused by installation problems occurs frequently. Based on years of construction experience, the author summarizes the problems that often occur during the installation of
Road Studs, and proposes a reasonable installation method, hoping to discuss with colleagues in the transportation industry.
The author keeps trying and sums up his own set of methods in practice, and has achieved good results. I would like to share with you colleagues. The steps are as follows:
1. Before installing
Road Studs, it is very important to place and install safety isolation facilities. I hope everyone can not ignore it. In the whole process of dynamic construction, whether it is a new road or a road that has been opened to traffic, everyone should In safety facilities, such as construction on roads open to traffic, the ratio of safety personnel to installation personnel should be 1:1. For the construction of road sections not open to traffic, the ratio of safety personnel to installation personnel should be 1:3.
2. Determine the installation position of the
Road Studs and ensure that the installation position is flat. For the pavement with expansion and contraction, cracks and unevenness, the pavement should be leveled in advance;
3. Clean the installation location of
Road Studs with a brush, and make sure the installation location is dry;
4. Take an appropriate amount of glue and spread it evenly on the
Road Studs;
5. Press the
Road Studs firmly on the installation position to ensure the correct direction. If there is too much glue, be sure to clean it up;
6. If it is cast aluminum
Road Studs with feet, make sure that the depth of the hole is 1cm greater than the depth of the foot, and the diameter of the hole is 2mm greater than the diameter of the foot;
7. An inspection shall be made within two hours after the installation of
Road Studs to ensure that all
Road Studs are not installed backwards, crooked or pressed crookedly.
8. After the
Road Studs have cured for 4 hours, remove the installation isolation facilities.
Road Studs installation is not a complicated affair, but there are many details to pay attention to. These details play a very important role in ensuring the quality requirements and service life of Road Studs.
