The Gulf Transportation Exhibition was founded in 2002 and has been successfully held for 20 sessions so far. That year was the ninth of the year! Together with its sister exhibition Middle East Abu Dhabi Road and Rail Transit Technology Exhibition (Roadex-Railex), it has always constituted the most influential bi-annual exhibition event for the rail transit industry in the Middle East. Since 2012, Gulf Traffic and Roadex-Railex will be merged into one exhibition, which will be held once a year.
